Francis Lovely Marie Gonzales, “Baby Frankie,” was born April 7, 2023, and passed away on May 8, 2023. Francis was born at St. George Regional Hospital. Francis was a happy, smart, loving baby, whose face would light up when she heard her mother’s voice. Her smile is one that we will forever miss.
Francis is survived by her mother Amanda Gerard Francis Gonzales, her puppy brother Meeklo Gonzales, grandma Priscilla Sharp, aunt Wendy Armstrong, uncles Lamar Armstrong, Justin McQuarrie and Kyle Sharp and her cousins Luciano Aguado, Christian Garcia, Lorenzo Wako, Mackenzie Boone and Sincere Boone.
Her oldest cousin Eric Capone Boone welcomes Francis on her journey home along with great-grandma Effie Smith, great-grandfather Fidel Smith, grandfather Gerard Gonzales, along with family members Roberta “Chickie” Clark and Justin Clark.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 19, at 5 p.m., at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff St., St. George.
Immediately following the celebration of life, a ceremonial half-night sing will be held at the Shivwits Band of Paiutes Community Center.
