Jean Davis Anderson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and angel on Earth, passed from this mortal existence on May 13, 2023, while residing in the Beaver Valley Hospital Long Term Care. She was born on Feb. 28, 1943, to Marlo Edward Davis and Chloris Dalton Davis in Circleville, Utah. She moved to Cedar City with her family in 1960, where she met Stan Anderson. They dated for two years and were married in the St. George Temple on June 2, 1962.
Jean is the mother of three children: Bruce, Beverly and Bonnie Jean. She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in 13 Relief Society presidencies, as well as many other callings including temple ordinance worker, primary teacher, visiting teacher and bishop’s wife. She was a marvelous mother, wife, and homemaker.
Jean and Stan had a deep love for each other, and they loved to hold hands wherever they were. She made loving friends wherever she went. She always made a point to find those who were sitting alone or giving hugs to you. To know her was to love her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was deeply loved by the staff at Beaver Long Term Care as well as the residents there. Her family wishes to thank all who helped care for her there. You are special people who strive each day to make the lives of the residents a little bit better and more enjoyable. We thank you for all you have done for Jean.
