Frances Jane Dailey Johnson, age 87, passed away on October 31, 2015, in St. George, Utah. She was born August 17, 1928, in Los Angeles, California. She came to Springdale, Utah, to help run the family business. There, she met Oscar Rolfston Johnson, they were married October 7, 1955, in the St. George Temple.
Frances enjoyed singing, reading, embroidering and doing word search puzzles. She worked for many years at the St. George and Hurricane Family History Libraries and served in many church and civic positions.
Frances is survived by her husband, Oscar R. Johnson; daughters, Janet (Tony) Barlow, Nanette (Ron) Buck and Lori (Myron) Durrant; sisters, Nancy Wrankle, Diana Anderson and Martha (Dean) Leavengood; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services
- Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 6, noon at the Springdale LDS Ward Chapel, Springdale, Utah.
- There will be a viewing Friday, 10-11:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel.
- Interment will be in the Springdale City Cemetery.
