Wilbert Lee Pogue, 84, passed to his heavenly home on Nov. 29, 2022, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born Oct. 23, 1938, in Dallas, Texas, to Robert and Edith (Williams) Pogue. He married Carol Jane (Cox). They were married for 66 years on Dec. 1, 2022. They were blessed with five children: Wilbert Jr., Mitchell, James, Julie and Adam.
Will was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. He loved his time as Bishop with the youth, in Scouting and lastly his St. George Temple calling.
Will is survived by his wife Carol, five children, 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec.12, at 10 a.m. in the Toquerville LDS Chapel, 63 North Toquerville Blvd., Toquerville, Utah. A visitation will be held Monday, prior to services, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Toquerville Cemetery.
