Verna Proctor Chadwick passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015, in St. George. Verna was born a twin in Lehi and raised on a farm in Pleasant Grove. She married Glen Don Chadwick on March 19, 1951, and together they had five children.
Verna was a homemaker and an avid seamstress. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church, serving in many capacities, all of which she loved. Verna was a true caretaker and embraced all with her love. She will be truly missed.
Verna is survived by her children, C. Don (Cheri) of St. George, Brad V. (Beth) of Yuma, Arizona, Cindy Barney (Gaynard) of Orem, Ralph (Mary Jean) of Henderson, Nevada, and Kelly Wagner (Wayne) of Las Vegas, Nevada; and brothers Paul Proctor and Dick Proctor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Don Chadwick; her parents, Thomas and Alice A. Featherstone Proctor; her brother Ronald Proctor; and her twin, Vern Proctor.
Funeral Services
- Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 16, 11 a.m. in the Price Hills LDS Ward 675 E. Desert Hills Drive, St. George.
- Viewing will be Friday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel.
- Interment will take place Saturday, Oct. 17, 11 a.m. in the American Fork City Cemetery, American Fork.
Arrangements have been made under the direction of Spilsbury Mortuary, St. George, 435-673-2454.
